Course Overview:

This course provides participants with foundational knowledge and practical strategies for leading effective writing instruction across the grades. Participants will study the progression of writing development, implement high-leverage assessment practices, and design instruction that aligns with grade-level standards across various genres. The course emphasizes creating inclusive writing environments and using mentor texts to bridge student needs with sophisticated writing techniques, ensuring all students grow as confident, capable writers.
