Online via Zoom and In Person at Teachers College
Teachers College Advancing Literacy invites you to attend our annual Literacy Fest on Saturday, January 30, 2027! This year's event will be hybrid, so it will take place in person at Teachers College and virtually via Zoom from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM ET.
Join literacy leaders, staff developers, and friends of Teachers College as we collaborate, learn from one another, and celebrate the joys of reading, writing, and the best new books in children’s literature.
What’s to expect:
Free Workshops: Interactive sessions designed for teachers, librarians, school leaders, and families
Literacy Strategies: Practical techniques you can bring directly to your classrooms, libraries, and varied learning spaces
New Book Recommendations: Recent titles of literature, both fiction and nonfiction, ranging from early childhood through high school
Vibrant Community: Opportunities to connect with passionate literacy advocates
Whether you are an educator looking for a mid-year boost in your teaching and learning life, or a caregiver wanting to support your child’s literacy journey, there is something for you.
Stay tuned for more about the schedule for the day, the Zoom link, and the event details for the in person sessions at Teachers College.
We can’t wait to learn together!
